The Phra Phuttha Narawantabophit amulet, issued in 2542 BE (1999), is regarded as one of the historically significant sacred-powder amulets. It underwent a magnificent grand Buddhist consecration ceremony and is revered for its all-encompassing blessings, owing to the inclusion of materials personally associated with King Rama IX. Details of the consecration ceremony and its outstanding blessings are as follows: 📜 Grand Buddhist Consecration Ceremony (Blessing Ceremony) The magnificent ceremony took place in the ordination hall of Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram (the Temple of the Emerald Buddha) on Monday, October 11, 2542 BE (1999). • Presiding over the ceremony: His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great (King Rama IX) graciously appointed His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn (King Rama X, then holding the title of Crown Prince of Siam) to attend as his royal representative and preside over the ceremony. • Monastic rites: His Holiness Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara, the Supreme Patriarch, entrusted Somdet Phra Phutthachan (Kiao) of Wat Saket with leading the Buddhist chanting and lighting the ceremonial victory candle. • Revered monks participating in the consecration: A total of 72 senior monks and renowned meditation masters from across the country—corresponding to the King's age—joined in meditative prayer to consecrate the amulets, including: • Luang Pu Rian Waralapho, Wat Aranyabanphot, Nong Khai Province • Luang Pu Thon Yanatharo, Wat Si Aphai Wan, Loei Province • Luang Pu Hong Phrompanyo, Wat Phetchaburi, Surin Province • Luang Pu Tim, Wat Phra Khao, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province • Somdet Phra Maha Thirachan, Wat Chana Songkhram, Bangkok ✨ What Are Its Outstanding Spiritual Blessings? Through the power of the royally bestowed sacred materials (such as the King's hair, robes worn during his time as a monk, and Chitralada sacred powder), combined with the grand consecration ceremony, this edition is especially revered for three principal blessings: Loving-Kindness, Popularity, and Enhanced Prestige (Its Strongest Attribute): As an amulet design made for King Rama IX, bearing his royal monogram ภปร. on the reverse, it supports devotees in career advancement, promotion, enhanced dignity and charisma, authority, and receiving patronage and support from senior figures. Protection and Safety: The Buddha is depicted in the “Calming the Ocean” posture (the Buddha image associated with Monday). In Buddhist accounts, this posture represents the Buddha miraculously stopping floods and disasters. Its spiritual blessings therefore emphasize protection from danger, avoidance of accidents, lessening the severity of misfortune, and helping to “stop” inauspicious influences from reaching the wearer. Good Fortune, Peace, and Happiness: Its materials include sacred Buddhist powders from 143 temples nationwide and soil from sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites, helping to bring peace and happiness to devotees and their families, as well as prosperity in business. Offered as a lot of 100 amulets, complete with the original individual amulet boxes and outer boxes. Average price: 65 baht per amulet.
